I have almost 30 years experience with horses, and have dedicated most of my life to improving my ability to ride and train horses. I first learned how to ride with a mounted drill team, later I became a student worker for Jane Shaw a hunter jumper trainer in Lake View Terrace, California. There I learned how to jump, helped give beginner lessons, and assisted in running camps during the summer and winter.  At the age of 18 I set off  to start my own riding school. For 10 years I operated a successful riding school in Lake View Terrace, California.  There I taught basic riding to children and adults of varying riding experience, along with running seasonal riding camps, and attending local shows with students.  While assessing a potential horse in Bakersfield, for a client, I stumbled on the world of reined cow horse. Soon after, I started working for Roger Bias, a cow horse trainer in Bakersfield California.  I then changed course and dedicated the last 10 years to learning how to train and compete on a cow horse. I have worked for NRCHA’s Million Dollar Rider and 2017 Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion Jake Gorrell. I ran my own cow horse operation for several years and some of my accomplishments include:
